Label Application

Step One

Preparation

It is best to have freshly washed hands before starting.

Wipe the surface to be labelled clean, wet then dry works well, using a soft cloth to ensure the surface is free from any oils or fibres.

Allow the surface to air dry while you prep the Label.

Step Two

Application

Swipe over the label to be applied using a store card, top to bottom and then left to right. This will help the vinyl lettering adhere to the clear transfer tape.

Eyeball the label position while the backing is still on to get an idea of where you would like to place it.

Once you are ready, peel the backing away carefully.

Hold the Label steady and when you are happy with the placement, press down onto the surface.

Step Three

Finishing

Firmly press down the label and swipe over with a store card.

Peel away the clear tape slowly and carefully on a diagonal. If any lettering lifts, press the tape back over the area and then swipe again with a card.

Step Four

Label Care

While the Labels are water resistant, they should be Handwashed Only.

You may need to be careful with rubbing depending on where your labelled item are stored, for example on a spice shelf.
